Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using DevGantry ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service — an agreement between you and A&A Global International LLC ("we", "us"), the developer and publisher of the app. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

These terms supplement, and don't replace, the agreements you enter into with Apple when you download the app from the App Store.

The service

DevGantry is a native app for macOS, iOS, and iPadOS that bundles 100+ developer utilities — formatters, converters, generators, encoders, validators, and similar tools — into a single offline-first application.

Almost every tool runs entirely on your device. A small number of tools (an address lookup, a public-IP lookup, an HTML preview renderer, and a link-unfurl preview) contact third-party services to do their job — see the Privacy Policy for details.

We may add, change, or remove individual tools in app updates as the product evolves.

Purchases & Apple's terms

DevGantry is distributed exclusively through Apple's App Store. It is a one-time purchase — currently $24.99 — with no subscription. That single purchase includes every current tool, every future tool, and every update, on all three supported platforms.

Purchase processing, billing, taxes, refunds, and family sharing are handled entirely by Apple under Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. We don't process payments and can't issue refunds directly — refund requests go through Apple.

The app is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"). These Terms supplement the Apple EULA; where the two conflict on App Store matters, the Apple EULA governs.

License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and the Apple EULA, you're granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, per Apple's standard licensing terms.

You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, or resell the app, except to the extent applicable law or an open-source license we use expressly permits it.

Acceptable use

DevGantry includes a handful of tools that reach out to third-party services — an address lookup, a public-IP lookup, an HTML preview renderer, and a link-unfurl preview. You agree not to use these features to harass, probe, scan, or overload any third-party service, and not to use the app for any unlawful purpose.

Generated & test data

Several tools generate data for development and testing purposes only — for example the password generator, the ULID generator, the lorem ipsum generator, and the fake data generator.

Output from these tools is mathematically well-formed but fictitious. It must not be used to commit fraud, complete real transactions, make identity claims, or otherwise deceive anyone. You are solely responsible for using generated data lawfully and appropriately.

Disclaimers

DevGantry's formatters, validators, converters, and other tools are provided as a convenience for developers. Results — including validations, format conversions, cron schedule descriptions, and IP geolocation sourced from third-party services — may contain errors or become outdated, and are not legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice. Always verify anything important independently before relying on it.

iCloud sync depends on your Apple ID and Apple's iCloud services being available and functioning correctly; we don't control their availability. Networked tools depend on third-party services that we don't operate and can't guarantee.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, DevGantry and its makers won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to the amount you paid to purchase the app.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, and its content (excluding any data you enter or generate) are owned by A&A Global International LLC or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that intellectual property to you beyond the license granted above.

Third-party services & open source

The app and this website include open-source components — including Yams, SwiftSoup, Next.js, and React — used under their respective open-source licenses.

A small number of tools query third-party services (for example an address-lookup provider, an IP-geolocation provider, and standard web fetches for HTML/link previews) to do their job. Those services operate under their own terms, which we don't control.

Changes to the service and these terms

We may update, add, or remove tools and features in app updates at any time.

We may also revise these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to use the app after a revision takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license to use the app if you materially breach these Terms. You can stop using the app, and uninstall it, at any time.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy at /privacy explains what data the app handles, what syncs via your iCloud account, and which features contact third-party services. It's part of these Terms by reference.
