Support

How can we help?

Have a question, hit a bug, or want to suggest a tool? Email us directly — that's the only way to reach us, and a real person reads every message.

Email support

We usually reply within 2 business days.

Using the in-app "Contact Support" option instead of a plain email prefills your app version, OS version, and device model, so we can help debug your issue faster.

iCloud sync isn't updating across devices

Saved history and preferences sync through your own private iCloud account — there's no DevGantry server involved. Check that each device is signed into the same Apple ID, that iCloud Drive is enabled, and that DevGantry is allowed to use iCloud in that device's Settings. Sync is per-Apple-account, so two different Apple IDs never share data.

A tool needs the network / why most tools work offline

Almost every tool runs entirely on-device with no network access at all. Only five features touch the network: CEP lookup (Brazilian postal codes), What's My IP, HTML Preview, Link Preview, and Network Tools (DNS lookup, HTTP/TLS inspector, port scan, and WHOIS against the host you specify) — each fetches only what its job requires. If a different tool seems to need a connection, something's wrong; let us know which one.

Purchases and restoring on a new device

DevGantry is a single, one-time purchase — $24.99, no subscription, no account to sign into. On a new device, open the App Store and use "Restore Purchases" to unlock the app again under the same Apple ID you originally paid with.

Resetting or clearing saved data and history

Nothing is saved unless you press "Save to history" inside a tool. You can delete an individual history entry or clear all history for a tool from within the app at any time. Turning off iCloud sync for DevGantry in your device's Settings stops new data from syncing, without deleting what's already saved on-device.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is DevGantry a subscription?

No. DevGantry is a pay-once app: you buy it a single time and own it forever, with every tool included. There is no subscription and no per-tool gating.

How much does DevGantry cost?

$24.99, paid once. That single purchase includes all 107 tools on macOS, iOS, and iPadOS, plus every future tool and update — there is no subscription and nothing extra to unlock.

What platforms does it run on?

DevGantry is a native app for macOS, iOS, and iPadOS, built with SwiftUI. One purchase covers all three platforms.

Does DevGantry work offline?

Yes. Almost every tool runs entirely on your device with no network access. Only five features touch the network: the Brazilian CEP address lookup, the My IP tool's public-IP lookup, HTML Preview's rendering of remote resources referenced in pasted HTML, Link Preview's fetch of the URL you paste to render social/chat link-unfurl cards, and Network Tools' DNS/HTTP/TLS/port-scan/WHOIS lookups against the host or domain you specify (its Local Network mode is fully offline).

How does syncing work?

When you save a result, both its inputs and outputs are saved together and available on all your devices — synced through your own iCloud account. Nothing is sent to any DevGantry server.

What languages is DevGantry available in?

The app ships in English, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, French, and German.

Is my data private?

Every tool runs locally on your device. Sensitive values like TOTP secrets, generated passwords, and raw plaintext are deliberately never written to history.

How many tools does DevGantry include?

DevGantry includes 107 tools across 11 categories today, and more are added over time at no extra cost.

Is DevGantry available now?

Yes — DevGantry is available on the App Store for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. One purchase covers all three platforms.
